INSURANCE

We do not accept insurance.  All required communication with an insurance company is solely the responsibility  of the client. We do not provide invoices. 

 

REFUND POLICY

We do not give refunds. Any prepaid services (Packages/Gift Certificates) that require re-scheduling will be credited to the clients account to be used at a later date with an expiration date of 1 year from the purchase date. 

There will be no exceptions on the 1 year expiration date.

 

PACKAGE POLICY

 (Multiple Sessions)

The purpose of providing packaged rates, is to encourage clients to be consistent in there recovery/healing, and fitness goals. Consistency produces maximum results in bodywork.

We provide discounted rates through the purchase of multiple sessions in packages of (4,8, and 12) 1hr sessions. Each client must purchase their own package. They are non-transferable, and non- refundable. As of January 1, 2019 packages are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. There will be no exceptions.

 

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICES

We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone, at anytime.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a minimum of 

48-hours notice prior to the scheduled appointment. To cancel or reschedule, please call 

(510) 730-1063, and leave your information on our voice mail.  We will return your call and assist you with rescheduling. Cancellations made via email are not accepted. We will reschedule appointments canceled within the 48 hour notice timeframe, based on our availability. Any cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the appointment will  be considered a NO SHOW.

Prepaid appointments that are in need of rescheduling that has been requested 48 hours prior to the booked session, will be credited to be used at a later date. Any non-prepaid, cancelled or NO-SHOW appointment will be charged the full amount of the services booked.

 

NO-SHOW APPOINTMENTS

If a client does not show up for a scheduled appointment that has not been canceled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, they will be billed for the full amount of the session.

 

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
We suggest all clients arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time. This allows time to complete paperwork, and begin on time.  If you arrive late, the session will still end on time and full payment will be expected.

 

NEW CLIENTS
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete paperwork, communicate your needs with your therapist, and begin your session on time.

CLEANLINESS
We do not have showers in our office, please bathe prior to your scheduled appointment.  Avoid wearing strong perfumes.

 

COMMUNICATION
It is your choice to talk to your therapist or remain quiet throughout your session.  Your therapist will follow your lead and mirror your decision. There are times that your therapist may need to  speak to you to have you reposition, request feedback on pressure, or explain a finding.

 

PROFESSIONALISM
All sessions are professional, therapeutic massages. There will be no sexual contact/conduct at any time between any client and a therapist.  Should a client behave in a manner that violates this professional boundary, the session will be ended and the client will still be required to pay for the session in full; and will be refused future services.
